Hyundai accent 2003 6x9 speaker install in rear ?

hey guys girlfriend owns a 2003 Hyundai accent 2 door hatch back, and ii wanna uprade her speakers to 6x9 in teh rear, is this possible? to mount them were teh original 6 inch ones are? or does anyone have pics of speakers in tyeh rear? i know its a long shot posting this on a commodore forum but someone mite have done it beofre lol

Simply jigsaw the parcel shelf and drop them in.

The parcel shelf would be the go, it won't be easy to make them fit where the original ones are.

unfortually these cars dont actually have a parcel shelf, they have like pods which is annoying.

ill have to tinker with irt and see hehe

I could be very wrong, but i'd put money on it that they have a removable parcel shelf.The excel's had one, and so have all the accent's i've been in.Has your's been removed at some stage and not put back in?

You should see 2 half circle shaped grooves where it locks in?

*slaps face* it does have a parcel shelf as shown in pics, howeve,r wouldnt it rattle if i was to mount them there? as the shelf isnt mounted down it just sits there

No issues with mounting on the shelf, infact you would get less rattles so to speak, as the shelf is somewhat isolated.
