VE SSV ute - rear speakers issue

Hello all,

Newbie to the forum, I've just bought a G8 auto ute, I've tricked it out a bit so far but cannot get the rear speakers to work. The service menu is set to 4/5 speaker system, the fader appears in the audio menu but no action. Am I missing something? or is there a Tech2 tweak needed?

All speakers and wiring appear to be OK

Two dealer service depts. and the factory helpline were no use....

Any ideas anyone?

So you have an additional set of speakers installed and connected to the rear speaker wires i assume?

Everytime ive activated the rear channels theyve worked fine?

The MY2010 SSV and G8 have rear speakers installed as standard, the buggers just don't work. The whole show is rock-stock standard. Has me (and the local dealers) beat.
