If anyone knows how many amps the stock alternator on a VE v6 puts out for please sharealso mention how you found it out as well
maybe link to source etc.

i work at a holden dealership.. it tells you on the catelogue what amp the alternator has.. its 100amps.. but if you have fitted the day time running lights you would need a 120 amp alternator..
I remember 85amps been standard for 6cyl VT's i think it was. So 100 sounds about right.
All the V6 VT variants were 100A if I remember rightly. Police packs being the exception, they had either 120A or 140A models fitted to power all the extra lights and equipment.
