Was just wondering if you can run more then one amp off a headunit that only has 1 rca' thingy.
I already have 1 amp running off it to power my sub in the boot and was looking at getting a 4 channel to run to my speakers in the front and back. Is it possible?
try google-ing it
i got
on amplifier you'll notice two different input leads. a high and a low. most of the time the high side will have small screws to it, and the low side has RCA jacks. the reason is when using the high side this is for a higher wattage input. in other words speaker wires that come out of the stereo reciever and go direct to speakers, can be wired here. the low side is for very low wattage meant for RCA jacks, which come out of your reciever. using RCA jacks, eliminates feed back, and distortion.
thanks for that, gives me a rough idea of what i need to do i guess i can always get a friend to do it for me haha![]()
just use RCA Y splitters
That way you can split one RCA into 2
something like this
CX1F2M : 22CM 1 FEMALE/2 MALE RCA Y SPLITTER :: Car Audio Leads
What are the amps? Most decent amps have outputs on them so you can run multiple amps off the one RCA.
