Default place in brisbane for car audio with install VXII 1-2k budget full system

have no clue about audio, according to this link i should be able to fit 6" speakers without mods and 6.5" with small mods. im looking for quality rather than loudness. doesnt have to cost the full price i just want something thats better than the stock but i asume if i need a amp and headunit price will increase quick. i dont necessarily want a sub either as i'll need extra amp and it'll take my boot space.

i preferably want speakers that that fit into the spot of the original speakers without modification. i dont want anything that shows i have aftermarket equipment installed in the car aside from the headunit which is unavoidable. the car has 1 pod in each door and 2 in the dash for tweeters. im also looking for a reliable installer as i've heard so many terrible stories of dodgy installs damaging the car.

i also want a new headunit, current slot is double din, i dont want anything with a lcd screen or movies etc. just something where i can plug a usb stick in. if there are any that can play flac format and run a usb portable it would be good. i figure if its available i can sit the hdd in the blank spot underneath.
    thanks

Check Daniel out: Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Stalker Security

I can supply you with the hardware for the job and he can perform the install. My previous customers have been happy with his work.

    Northfield are very good.
Drew at the Moorooka store knows his shit, but they mostly have the real $$$ stuff there.
Haven't dealt with the guys at Mt. Gravatt.

ANd I know this is gonna sound suss, but a mate of mine has had all his stuff installed in his VE SS by the fellow at JB Hi-Fi at Mt. Gravatt and its a tip top install for the $.
Included sound deadner etc. which I don't think the JB guys would usually do
