Good Afternoon all,
I have recently installed a second amp in the car, so i am now running 1 amp for the 6x9's and another for duel us audio subs. The only problem is when i turn the car off, the amp connected to the subbys does not turn off.
And if i turn up the amp to the sub to much the other amp will cut out.
very strange...
Wrong section mate, needs to go under the Car Audio section, not a sponsors section.
What wire did you use for the remote turn-on wire?
What size power cable are you running to the amps? Also what size ground wire and too where?
And have you properly set the gains properly?
Though I don't know why you are running 6x9"s and subs. Have you turned on the High Pass Filter on the 6x9" amp.

Sorry for posting in the wrong section.. didnt notice ;P
Running 4 gauge all around. subs are 1200 watt each. amp hooked to them is a boss 1000watt amp.
The other amp going to the 6x9's is 600 watt.
I just dont understand how to get the both working and how to make them turn off when the car is off :P.
At the momment i got a remote from the back of the head unit going to 1 amp, and from that amp got another remote wire going to the other amp.
The same with the rca's.
They both have there own earth, both got there own power wire.
So they are running off the same remote wire? That's weird they should both turn off at the same time.

As for the 6x9" amp cutting out, it sounds like you have the gains set too high so when you turn the volume up too much, it goes into protect mode, most likely from overheating.

acarmody, you were right on the money mate.
Turns out that's why it kept cutting out when i was turning it up.
All is sorted, mounted and working perfectly now.
Cheers guys.
