Head Unit Wiring Question.

Good Afternoon Everyone.

I got a very easy question but my brain has gone blank lately.

Just wondering if i am ment to connect the constant power wire to the Acc wire on the head unit on the 12v power wire on the head unit.

Nothing is saving its self on the Head unit and i been fine with it but now its kinda getting to me.

Its a Alpine head unit in a Vn by the way.

Constant = 12v all the time.
Accessory = 12v when ignition is turned to accessory or ON.

If it's not saving, swap the wires over.

Yeah thats what i did wrong, got them the other way around.

this so called little problem of mine with the cd player wiring which didnt fuss me.... until now!

Took the head unit out and fixed up the wires and the stupid thing still dont turn on when i turn the car on.. i was sitting there for 30 mins mix and matching the wires but got no where.. i dont know where i could be going wrong.

you must have the wrong wires or be missing the constant power wire.
you need a test light to find which wire turns on the light when the car is turned off, and then which wire turns on when the ignition is turned on.
