Cheap in car DVD Players

So I've been looking around mostly on eBay for a cheap DVD Player, that also does radio, GPS, handsfree calling, etc. I've found a few that look decent between 350-500 and was looking for peoples opinions on them if theyve used them, and if there would be any real difference between any of the brands?

The most common one I found was the Eonon, at $440. http://www.eonon.com/GPS-Navigation/E1025A.html

I've also found another, which is around $100 cheaper, YFT-0619GPS 7" GPS DVD Player - Single Din - YFTeshop

Now both seem to have the same specs, just the eonon is more common. What one should I pick? I really don't care about any "oh cheap ebay chinese crap" comments. I'm not spending $1000+ just to get a good brand when its probably the same technology anyway. The reviews on the eonon's are mostly good, and people seem to be running them for years without any problems.

you can get a pioneer flip out dvd pplayer that does that at newcastle pro sound for just under $500

It's not the same technology or quality or after sales support. But if you don't care about that, then go for it

Eonon has spammed a few forums I'm on, so they must be pretty good.

Yeah? Any idea what model it is? I'm mainly after one for GPS and handsfree mobile, so anything on top of that is a bonus really.

You won't get GPS included from a name brand for that price. He's referring to just screen/DVD/radio.

Still doing some research. Found a few more good looking ones. One included 2gb internal storage and double resolution for $50 more. Might consider that.

Whats concerning me though, anyone with a similar DVD unit, can you listen to music with the display closed? I dont want to have the screen up just to listen to the radio

I have a Jensen single din flip out one I got for $500 with a reversing cam. Nothing spectacular but it works quite well, but with that one I can have the screen closed while listening to music.
