Wanted to know if anyone has had experience with the pioneer AVIC-F310BT. Looking for a new headunnit for a VY. Look like it has everything i want GPS, IPOD, Bluetooth. Also want decent sound quality. Does anyone have this unit and what are your opinoins?
Ive installed the AVIC-F910BT and it was great, everything seemed to work well and was easy to use.
I havent fitted the AVIC-F310BT but ive had a play with it in store, not bad but as it didnt have an input for a reversing camera it wasnt suitable for my customer. Other people have said it felt a little "cheap", but i dont share that opinion.....it did feel a little flimsy but not overly concerning.
150db in a commodore =
its an ok unit for what it is...biggest let down was as holden boy says, no reverse camera input although the new f320 will have ipod video and possibly reverse camera (not sure on the later part yet) but also, it had only one pair of rca outputs. Would have at least like to have seen two pairs for that sort of money, but thats not really where it's aimed I guess.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
According to pioneer website the F310 has 2 sets of RCA ouputs? Is this an upgrade to newer models?
possibly...the ones I have in store are from the first release and they definetly only have one. Which is selectable between sub/rear

Ok, A mate recieved his F310 today, has 2 sets of RCA(sub/rear and front) going to do install on weekend.
I was looking at that same unit earlier today to fit into a Hilux that I intend to buy soon, but after reading this CNET review I think I'm gonna keep looking for something more suitable...
