gday guys..i was installing my soundsystem yesterday in my VX Berlina wagon when i came across a problem, the front seatbelts are covering the spot where i need to get to so i can feed the wire through that rubber hose thing into the rear doors. if i unbolt the seatbelt, will that mess with any airbag sensors? if so, how do i feed wire to the door?
anyone??????????????
Im 99% sure you wont mess about with the airbag sensors by undoing the seatbelt bolt.
Also, why dont you just use the stock wiring thats running into the doors? Unless your connecting these speakers to 200+wrms on each side theres no problem just using that wiring. You can access the speaker wires in the main loom under the sill panel (near the front seats) or if youre running these speakers off the head-unit just connect the wiring there.

you DO NOT need to remove the seatbelt....you can if you want and you won't mess with anything but you are just wasting your time. On either side of the seatbelts is a service hole, if you pulll the grommet from the outside and then feed the wire through that service hole you will feel it poke through allowing you to grab it with your finger and pull it through the rest of the way you need too.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
