Lightbulb Blown speakers - - - Need help/opinions for replacements

Soundstream 6x9's carked it the other day

I have a Alpine h/u with sony xplode 6's at the front which are running of my amp

Should i get another set of 6x9's for the back or upgrade the fronts and move the front set back..

Not sure if previous owner cut up the parcel shelf too much for the 6x9's

    Suggestions?

    cheers

Have you thought about going with a subwoofer?

Personally i'd move the Sonys to the rear and buy a new set of splits, use the current amp for the new fronts (Sonys run off the head-unit) and buy a sub / box / amp.

It all depends on how much your willing to spend, and ofcourse your expectations

The amp withing the h/u is blown apparently it was just an upgrade from my shitty sony one..
I dont wanna run a sub just yet but if i can put up with no woofers for say 2-3 weeks i'll be looking at a sub maybe

Yeah, youre far better off to wait a couple of weeks and buy something thats meant to produce bass (subs).
