ive heard that vr's are terrible for putting subs in but had never thought much of it. that is until i went into audiocom today and got told the same thing. aparently something about them makes it extremely hard to hear any bass. i find it hard to believe them though seeing as the other info they gave me on amps made no sense.
anyone heard about this before? or know if its at all true
I had a vs - great bass. two mates with vr-s great bass thats bullshit i rekon mate

i think its something along the lines of,if you were going into sound offs etc, then something like a little hatch will give more noise but for everyday,a commodore would be fine
If your using cheap subs, cheap pre-fabs ect, then fitting of subs could be seen as poor component choice as far as value for money is concerned. But you can get "bass" from any vehicle obviously.
Some cars have more metal between the boot and cabin which will reduce the amount of sound allowed through to the cabin but VR's aren't known for that. Some Beemers and other luxury cars aren't too good as the boot is REALLY well sealed from the cabin.
Nothing a quick going over with the grinder won't fix![]()
