Amp for Type R

i know i have posted a few times in the last week but im finding it hard to come to a conclusion.

i have an Alpine SWR-1242D type R 12' sub - the 4 ohm version
and i need to find a suitable amp for running just this sub, i know i need a mono block but that's all i really know.

im looking for something under $400 but i don't want something that can only just run it, i want to get something that can run it, and run it well

any advice on the topic is also welcome

These are one of my favourites, especially for the money:
Ryda Car Audio - Kenwood Car Audio KAC-9104D Car Amplifier($348.85)
It does produce nearly double what your sub is rated at, by it'll do the job well
