got some major parcel shelf rattle is expander foam the best solution for this or is there other better ways?

i filled mine up with normal foam.

just needs sumthink soft to lay agaist.

U can stik stuff between the window n the shelf, ie stuffed toy

Find out what's rattling and put something between the objects.

My shelf rattled against the glass, so I put something soft between the two surfaces.

Expanda foam will most likely "expand" a hell of a lot more than you require it to, with possible disasterous results! I'd go with the normal foam, pull out the parcel shelf and fit the foam into every possible place you can that may be causing rattling. A lot of stuffing around, but if you take your time, you should get good results.

No, Dynamat is NOT for rattles.

Dynamat is a deadener, it's used to deaden panels.

Remove the parcel shelf and you will see a couple of smallish sheets of sound deadener . They come adrift from the shelf and start to rattle .Also the tape that sticks the wire from the brake light to parcel shelf also comes unstuck . When i installed some 6x9s i used some underfelt and that fixed the prob .
