Default Putting stock HU back in

I'm getting ready to sell my car & buy a new one and would like to keep the sound system that's in my car at the moment as it's fairly new and I don't really want to part with it just yet.

Question is, can I just remove my Pioneer deck and plug my VT's eurowhatsit HU back in? Will I need any specials adapters or anything?

    Thanks for your help.

Depends how the Pioneer deck was installed. If simply an adapter was used then just remove the adapter and plug back in. But if say it was hard wired, then you will have to remake the factory plug.

Ah cool. Thanks. When it stops raining I'll head out to the car and have a look.

    Thanks again
