Measure the internal dimensions, we can work out from those.

    Model number of sub?

Clarion subs generally don't suit ported enclosures. You're likely to be louder but it will sound crap.

Why do you want to port it? Do you know anything about porting, how a port works, ect?

If your simply doing it because you think it will be louder, then don't. Most likely it will not be any louder, and could actually end up sounding worse.

I will be a fair amount of work to port that box, and it still won't be as good as a properly built ported box. ANd once you have ported it then it will be a pain to un-port it if you don't like it.

Does you mate have the same sub, because to be honest you have a cheap sub that doesn't particularly sub a ported enclosure. So it probably won't sound close to your mates.

But if you really want to, ask you mate if you can put your sub in his enclosure, only a few minutes work and test done.
