    Question vr rear door speakers

Hey just wondering if anyone has tried to mount some 6'5 inch speakers in the rear doors of a vr-vs i got them installed for now but can no longer wind down the windows. i have some spare door trims to play with but just wondering if there are any pods that you can buy for this.. this is for a wagon so no parcel shelf and putting them in the boot makes no noise and is a waste of time i think.. any suggestions would be great.

    Cheers, Mick.

Make your own pods from fibreglass would be the only way I think. No Commodore from VN to VS had rear door speakers. Obviously door trims from VT and later cars will not fit.

Why not just put the rear speakers in the parcel shelf where they are supposed to be/fit? If your trying to fit more speakers it is usually un needed, you will get better sound quality from having just front/rear speakers rather than front/2xrear.

Read his first post again, its for a wagon......so no parcel shelf

I think ive convinced him through PMs to ditch the idea of rear speakers and concentrate more on the fronts. Rears are only for rear seat passengers, if you have a decent set of front splits with adequate power rear seat passengers with easily hear them.
