Hi
Does anyone know where the 11 speakers are located in the ss-v?
I'll take a guess and say:
1 centre mounted dash speaker
2 woofers in each front door
2 tweeters in the corners of the dash
2 woofers in the rear doors
2 tweeters in the rear doors (?)
2 subwoofers in the parcel shelf.
Only one im not certain about is the rear tweeters.

Do they sound any good? I'm looking at getting a SS-V wagon... The integrated dash is putting me off putting an aftermarket stereo in![]()
Aren't the rear just 2 way coaxials, which they count the the tweeter and mid as individual speakers, so the rear 2 are infact 4?
Pretty sure that's how Holden added them up in all the premuim systems.
Stone X, i've never heard one, but i could imagine how 11, or 9, cheap speakers, with limited tuning capabilities, and low power would sound.
I have a 09 SSV and the 11 Speaker "premium" stereo isn't all that great coming from a car with Focal gear. I've just turned up the gain on the factory amp to get more bass, which was an improvement. I haven't heard a SS/Omega stereo to compare the two. But the SSV stereo does sound better than a VS/VT stock stereo
As for the standard head unit, you can mod it to get RCA's and use an equaliser.
