aftermarket CD player and steering wheel controls (ISO?)

Okay not sure if its been covered i had a quick look through and couldnt find anything. The car in question is a vu ute and a jvc kd r206 and im wondering if the aftermarket unit gets hooked up can you still control the volume etc with the steering wheel. And how do you hook it up if its possible?

shorts answer no, you need a CAT to make it possible but they are pricey, there is a person on the forum that makes them cheap, i for one have bought one and they work perfect, unsure if he can make it work for jvc though
