Im trying to install vs speaker pods into my vp commodore
Could anyone show some pictures of how to do this please would help out alot
You'll need to remove the door trims, mark out in pencil the outline of the new pod on the trim. Cut out the area on the trim for the speaker mount. Install the speaker mount on the door itself and screw the pod to the door trim. Re-install the trim and see if you need to cut more out of the door trim. Obviously run speaker cable into the door also![]()

Is there any special way you have to face it on the door itself?
Can only go on one way mate.

how do you run the speaker wire through the doors properly???
Through the rubber tube that you can see when you open the door. Its a bugger of a job, i fed mine through with a coat hanger and the speaker wire attachted to that, take your time though or you will pierce the rubber making it no longer water tight.

any tips on how to make it easyer?
I still haven't done it myself, but someone said to push through a hollow bic pen and feed the wire through that

Im not having much luck with either, But ill give it another try tomorrow
coat hanger really was best for me, but just take your time with it. i ended up getting pissed at it and shoving it out the side of the rubber haha.

i've got vs pods/mounts and i've taken my trim off and i'm looking at my door and my speaker mounts, but there isn't any holes in the door to screw the mounts into.
how do you know where to drill so it lines up with the pod when the skin is on?
