    Default rampage 6x9's?

hey people. just wondering if rampage 6x9 speakers are any good?

i got some audio line 4-way 6x9s already off my mate, i haven't installed them yet. but on one of the, the bass channel doesn't work.

so my friend offered to give me his rampage speakers for free as he doesn't need them.

i havent really heard of the brand rampage, but my friend has megavox in his car which haven't heard of and they sound pretty good as well.

so does anyone know how they will go?

p.s im like 99% sure im gonna take them because there brand new.. never been used and their replacing my old 6" standards

    thanks

They're like Super Cheap's cheapest nastiest speakers they sell, as far as I know.

Rampage, audioline, megavox? Does this mate actually research his gear?

To be honest mate there is a reason Super Cheap Auto sell Rampage gear, its super cheap. Still free is free so you can install it but there won't be much difference until you get an amp (assuming these can be amped).

They are the cheapest of the cheap supercheap auto brands. I have only heard Rampages subs, but they were rubbish. They will probably have more bass than you're standard speakers if that's all you are after. Worth a go for free anyway

Oh, and don't take advice from your mates with audioline or megavox gear

lol nah they were cheap stuff... now they have better things like alpine, pioneer, and blaukpunt.

iv got a pioneer head unit and pioneer 6" speakers in the front already in my car, but my back speakers are stock and now there distorted and just don't really cut it.

when i scrape up some more cash i wanna get a good set of splits for the front.. chuck the 6 inches that are in the front into the back, get a decent sub and get a mono block and a 4 channel amp...

but being a uni student with no job at the moment.. its hard to get the cash.. so if it sounds better and its free.. its a good thing

    Can't argue with that logic.
