Default 7" motorised display in manual VS

I tried searching this but couldn't find a substancial answer

I am thinking of installing a 7" motorised display head unit in my VS ute
The install is pretty straight forward for me, have done a few now,
The issue that have is my car is a manual and i was wondering if anyone has done this kind of install before as i am concerned about the screen and the gear stick colliding

I cant really see there being a problem when the screen is out and up, my concern is when the screeen is traveling

i just want to be sure it will work before i go blowing a wad of coloured folding plastic on the head unit to find it wont fit

yeah i've done it to mine, no issues. mine is a 3 seater so the middle bit is different.

you'll find the gear stick in the utes is slightly shorter, so any clearance issues would have been found in manual vs sedans.

No issues with mine. Got maybe 1 or 2 centimetres of clearance. What unit are you looking at getting?
