    just want to know where i can buy a 6'' aeroport in sydney and yes i have spoken to joe allready

    Well if one isn't big enough just use two. Like Joe's Vibe enclosure. Looks preety awesome with two ports too, not many normal people would use it like that.

    PVC pipe mate, it's all the same. Just don't use the cheap cardboard ones. Whilst their fine for HT use, the won't withstand the constant jolting from being in a vehicle.

    Flaring is pretty straight forward, though it requires a few practice runs to get the hang of it. Flaring is reccomended, however it isn't nessacary.

    I assume this is for maximum SPL?

    If so, its REALLY important to flare those port ends. It can give you a 1-2db gain most of the time.

    These ones arent cheap ($79 + post) but they are the best for "proper" flared ports:

    Yeah, it's possible to mould your own "parabolic" flares like above, but its not the easiest process.

    You'll probably pay $15-$20 postage so keep that in mind

    Actually free postage through that supplier, they are great to deal with aswell

    hey mate i Have a custom made jig used for making 6 inch flares. I had it made for a sub box i was making. Can provide you with whatever length 6 inch flare you need. with pics provided. can do with postage for a lot less than the other one you were looking at. Pm me if your insterested
