Red face Seat covers! = better sound

So today I bought seat covers (front and rear, of the padded variety) + mats as well. And this time (I did this in my last car but wasn't noticing the difference but now that I think about it, it was definitely better) I noticed soo much better sound quality and added comfort!

So I thought to myself... WHY?

More padding, absorbs excess sound/road noise/echo's etc resulting in clearer better quality sound. It's kind of like a sound deadening your car but cheaper and easier.

Thats what I thought anyway, figured Id share that with ya see what you're thoughts are!!

Oh, and a dash mat won't hide a lifting airbag cover. The dash mats are designed around anything on the dash, such as airbags, air vents, ect. So you will still see it.

Lol yeah possibly. I'm serious though, THICK seat covers absorb more sound depending on the material. Eh maybe placebo effect.
