long story short..
2 amps.. 2 subs.. 6 speakers.. all wires are ran perfectly.. power down drivers side.. RCA/Speaker/Remote... all down passenger side.. all grounds are on strong bolts with completely bare metal and gold terminals.. no wires can be seen and none are running near any specific motorized parts.. Is it worth spending money on a bunch of ceramic resistor spark plugs.. or will this just be more money down the drain.. the audio is whistling with higher RPM and constant static thought the speakers.. driving me insane..
Lemme know what you think
Thanks in advance
Cody.
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, if it weren't for Fords our tools would rust.
I havent got the ceramic resistor leads either and have never had problem with interference.
Head-unit make?

the headunit is Eonon.. and so is the dvd player.. but it runs the sub perfectly without any interference.. only the speakers coming from the JBL amp are static

I'd probably try another head-unit, its a good possibility that the Eonon head-unit is causing the problem. It wont be picked up by the sub because the Low Pass Filter will be filtering it out.
I have known a couple of Eonon units to be responsible for this.

hmm.. thats sort of easily done.. i have a couple of pioneers and a kenwood.. just dont know about separating the DVD from the headunit.. because there on top of each other in the double din hole.. and the other head units dont have the USB function or the dvd control.. what cheap method could i use to fill the space where the dvd player is if i was to remove both?
Can i ask the model numbers of the amps, subs, and speakers you are currently using?
hmm.. the subs are sony Xplodes... a older model.. not to sure of the model numbers right now but i can find out in the morning... the amp powering them is this years jensen A900 monoblock..
running the speakers is a JBL gto4000 600W amp.. and the speakers are.. 2x pioneer 16cm splits (not 100% sure of model number) and the others are the stock door speakers in the 2001 vx commodore.. the buzzing seems to be coming from all speakers but the subs..
