    Default VE Rear Speakers

Hi... Just wondering for those with VE commodores, how did you guys install your rear speakers in the doors?
What size speakers did you use?
    Did you use MDF spacers?
I've got a set of Hertz dsk165, and Option Audio AO60c.... I cant manage to get them in the doors, the speaker frams are too big... Just trying to decide if i need to make my own spacers in the shape of the plastic stock one.... Im just after idea's... Thanks in advance...

Yeah, either cut out the stock pod (frame) to fit the bigger basket or better yet make up some MDF spacers the same size as the stock ones, just with the larger speaker mounting hole.

Or you can by some pre-made 6.5" spacers from Aerpro or DNA ~ $10-20$ a pair.

Thanks guys i had purchased the aeropro spacers, but the screw holes dont line up, so i took the stock ones, and made a mdf template, but just wondering with the aeropro ones do people just drill new holes into the doors?

You can get some baffles and cut the backs off them.

You must cut the back off otherwise they choke the speaker
