Hey, First post done here, I have a VZ and am working on my stereo at the moment, I have a 7inch pioneer headunit, 2 soundstream tarantula 6x9s 150rms each, and a set of eclipse components, I plan to have them in the rear doors and get some nice splits for the front. I have an eclipse EA4000 amp which I think is about 300w rms, so I want to get a mono block to power my sub.
I have no clue what my sub is tho, or anything about it as i bought it off a mate, it 10inch and has a yamaha logo on the back of it, its heavy as, but no idea what power i may be able to pump into it, has anyone heard if yamaha made subs for cars? and if they are any good or not??
Any ideas or suggestions for my system would be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers
Mike
As far as I know, Yamaha car audio stuff is EBay junk, useful as paperweights.

whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
Cheers for input, Ill see how they go, if they are crap then I will just save for a better one. When installing 6x9s on the rear shelf, do you rekon making an inclosure for them would be of much benifit? or is it a waste of time and effort?
An enclosure would benefit them, but not greatly so, unless your using they most for bass. But since you have a sub the 6x9"s should have a HPF set for them, so it won't be a huge benefit to get enclosures for.
