    Default Aftermarket VY Antenna Controls

Yep i searched - still couldn't find the right answer.

I am going to be running an aftermarket headunit in my VY Berlina. I have the adjustable height antenna with buttons in the factory head unit. Is there a way to wire a switch in to it so you can still put it up/down? Or so it goes down when on a CD or AUX and go up when your on Tuner?

    Thanks heaps!

Thanks mate Take a look at my sig, there's a link there with a gazzilion pics of the audio to come.

After reading a bit more i think i wire the antenna to the accesories wire, same as you wire the amp remote to. Would i wire both antenna wires or just one of them?

put a closed switch inline with the antenna trigger from head unit. one side of switch is the anntenn triger from the Head unit, the middle is you antenna (brown wire i think) and the last terminal and the other antenna wire
so then you will have up, down, and hold..
