Just wondering who i can take my car to get some help with audio questions on the north side of brisbane
Why not just ask the questions here? We have quite a few experienced members, some installers, and also an audio sponsor.
Your more likely to get less biased answers here, than from a store that only stocks certain products, and who's main aim is to sell you something..
^Agreed. Also most places won't take the time out to answer questions unless they believe that you are going to buy something. And like HCVP said, they will answer your questions in such a way as to talk up thier own gear.

ive got a VE V Calais 2008 and want to put a sub or 2 (either 2 12" in box or 1 18" in box) and an amp and have no clue what to doo..... what would you guys recommend? and does anyone know someone in the adelaide area who installs?
First get your own thread
Then come up with a budget (remember to factor in instalation, and wiring cost's)
Decide whether it is 2 x 12's, 1 x 18, or whatever it is you want
From there, search online and find as many subs as you can within your price range
Research as much as you can about the subs you have just found, any reviews you can find ect
Once you have narrowed your search down, jump back on the net, and find as many car audio outlets as you can in your area.
Ask them if they stock the subs you have found, and are interested in.
If they have them, go and have a listen
Once you have decided on a sub, decide on the enclosure you want to use.
Search ported and sealed enclosures, and determine which one best suits your needs
Then consider all factors, e.g, is space saving an issue
If you have wood working skills, you can post back, and we can come up with a suitable enclosure for you, and give you advice on building it
Or, you can consult with an installer, and he/ or she (if your lucky) can design and build one for you
Once you have you sub/enclosure, you can look for a suitable amp. Keep in mind, that you may be able to negotiate some sort of discount if you buy more than one item from the same store
