Do many head units work with the steering wheel controls? i have a vy and am looking to upgrade the head unit and speakers. Also wheres the best position for the speakers without hacking the car?

Headunits dont work with steering wheel controls. You need a module thingy. From memory they were quite expensive back when I had a look, just not sure about how much these days.

Best place would be stock location... ? Find out the size of the speakers in your doors and get same size.

its about $200 for the unit.
