I have had my mates help install my stereo and it sounds great except only my front left split is having a hard time with interferance when vocals or any good amount of trebile is coming through.
only thing i can think of is im pretty sure they mounted the crossover basically ontop of the ECU.
Would this cause the problem? If not any ideas as its only the 1 side![]()
Model of splits?
How are they powered, off the head-unit amp or an external?
Almost sounds like youve got the left crossover on a different tweeter setting (there's probably -3db, a 0 and a +3db settings).
150db in a commodore =
Its a German Maestro CS6508 set of splits in the front, running off a rockford fostgate 400w amp. All connected to stock deck with RCA mod to it.
I wasnt the one who put the crossover in so i guess ill look at the right to see which it is set to and adjust accordingly
buy a sound suppressor from jaycar for $29 works like a charm
