Is it possible to have 2 subbs and a amp working off the vz sv6 head unit? My mate said it works without back speakers? Is it possible?

Yes it can be done quite easily. The rear speakers can still operate without any dramas, you just need to tap into the rear speaker wires then run these wires to a line out converter. This basically converts speaker cables into RCA cables. Then just run RCA cables to the amp as normal, power and ground are normal. Just find an accessories feed (like the cig lighter) to tap into for the remote wire.

No the line out converter only needs the signal for the amp.
