    Default Remote wire question.

my amps arent being powered i did a power test and there is power in the power cable,
the others are all run properly i believe
    but
the remote wire doesnt have power even when the ignition is on,
im not sure if it has power at the head unit, but im guessing theres a break in the cable soemwhere along the line, does it sound like this could be the problem?

Sounds like it, without the remote power the amp won't turn on. For a test, piggyback off the power cable to supply +12V to the REM.

You said amps, plural. I would suggest running your remote wire to a relay, and then the relay to the remote input of the amps. That way you're not overloading the remote wire, you're only asking for the bare minimum current to turn the amps on. As soon as you double or tripple up on the connections directly to the remote wire, then that remote wire will have to carry 2 or 3 times as much current, which will make the head unit work harder.
Use a relay and let your head unit have more power itself .
As for your problem, just have to check at the back of the head unit if there is a solid connection.

if checked the back of the head unit and its connected..
ill look there for power too, (i was checking the other end at the amps)
so maybe its just a break in the cable otherwise ill need a relay..

I'm not sure the relay will solve your problems. I just suggested it so that you don't possibly run into that sort of a problem in the future..
Check the wire that comes from the head units harness (so before the connection to the wire that runs to the boot).

Did you try using the power cable to power the remote wire like I suggested?

there was a break in the cable,
    i fixed that,
then i was still getting really bad feed back from what i thought was my sub,
but i then leant it was comming from my back speakers.
which im guessing is because there drilled into metal,
so imma get wooden spacers to stop thatt..
now all i need to know is why my second sub wont work,...
