hii
ive got to pioneer champion series subs 400wrms each and i am powering them with and alpine MRP-M1000 and for speakers ive got type splits and type r s in the rear aswell and im powering them with MRP-F600 and ill be listening to music fairly loud as i always have it and the subs will cut out which sounds like they are going into protection but sometimes i will blow the fuse now ive blown many fuses b4 but lately i have been absoultly frying them like nothing left inside them or blowing the case. all this stopped for abit untill i got it rewired didnt happen and because i was blowning so many fuses and so on it screwed the power packs in the amps so got new ones for nothing and it has started to do it again and i dont want to have to get new amps
not sure what the problem with it is because the subs are 400wrms each and im putting 500wrms into each so power is no problem
any ideas anyone??
thx

What size power cable are you running? And have you rechecked the ground connections? And also made sure that the power cable is not grounding somewhere?

What is the EXACT model of the subs and how are they wired to the amp?
You need to have two TS-W308D2 with the voice coils wired in series and the subs wired in parallel... Like the picture below.
If you have a different model of sub or they're wired different, you're most likely running your amp too hard and causing it yourself.
i would definitly hav my subs wired like stonex said, and with an amp like that you wouldnt haf to hav the gain turned up much, i know alot of people who hav the gain up shitloads and that can make your subs sound like ass and can make the amp shut off, also the power wire and ground should be checked, my mate had the exact problem with his fuses and we chased it back to the ground wire being not tightend down enough and not enough metal being in contact with the clip
to be honest i wouldnt know how the subs are wired
i will check the grounding cables but if its the subs wired wrong i reallly cbf but i have to pull out the back seas and half my booot then then unscrew the sub box from the seats
right now i couldnt care about my audio cause i dont have a car now last night tyres got slashed front panels kicked in door kicked in scratched alll round my car pullled alll trim off ripped all badges off and the put shit in my petrol tank which was not petrol![]()

You can disconnect the sub wires from the amp and measure the resistance with a multimeter. Should measure about 1.5-2.0 if wired properly.
that sounds heaps easier thanks![]()
Get on it!!
As asked above, what size wires are you running, what size fuses are you using, and how high do you have the gain set?
Sucks to hear what happened to your car.

main question is What amp Fuse are you using prob using low amps with a decent system
If your post had made sense I would have answered it politely. It just seems people are getting more and more retarded these days and don't realise that people don't understand their ramblings.
yer u must be that retarded u cant understand simple writing
i basicly quoted
im running 2x 2ohms dual voice coil subs
ive got it bridged from the amp running straight to + - Both subs on the same channel
Would your parallel Wiring be better off to run my subs
wasnt being rude just asking a simple question then you had to be all tough guy on me......
So your subs have 2 + and 2 - each so you have all 4 + connected to the + on the amp and all 4 - connected to the = on the amp?
What's the model number of your amp and subs?
