When I purchased my wagon the rear speakers that were put in the tailgate were not done properley now have big gapping holes. Is there any way to repair this so i can install some new speakers or do i need to go to the wreckers and get a new skin? I have an alpine system that had amp set up but was removed before sale.
Oh dear, that does look nasty. It will need to be replaced. It's the cheapest and simplest way. Plus....it only takes about 20 minutes to get it out. Your only other option I can think of is to put a pair of 6x9's in there. Goto a stereo shop, tell them the position you are in and see if they will let you take one out to the car and size it up in the hole. If it covers it.....great! if not...replace.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Thanks 12Voltking I knew you would have an answer.
