So I removed the old one n that took me a good 20 minutes n then I had trouble getting to the wires so I dropped the glovebox, n removed side trim cut the wires removed old connector and put the wires through, started wiring it all up n then I couldn't work out the power accessories, n it works if I put the accesseries n power together from the unit into the 12v accesseries output from the head unit which Is yellow, so all good there, now I wanna no I connected the speakers all up no worries, but when I turn the headunit on n off it will restart.... It won't continue on same track, n also with the antenna I couldn't find a white cable for up n blue for down, I put it on tuner n it went up when I connected to yellow red stripe, but the stations r still all fuzzy... Help would be much appreciated!!

Just a question... why didn't you buy one of those plugs that plug directly into your original loom? Then you wouldn't have had issues with trouble getting to the wires. Only suggestion I can think of is check your fuses. You may have blown one.

Are all fuses under the steeringwheel? N which ones should I look for, and is there' anything other for the radio problem,? And how is the memory thing not working,? And also how does the headunit fit in,? Does the blak metal tray have to come out??? N is it right to connect antenna to yellow with red stripe?

Mate sounds like you've connected the constant power of your head unit to the accessories power of your car. So when you turn the car off you loose all power to the head unit. You need to hook your head unit constant power ( yellow I think) to the car constant power. And your accessories form your head unit(red I think) to the car accessories. The car wiring colour code is In a thread called 'vk-vz' wiring code( or something) under car audio section.

Wats the power wire from vz factory unit I tried yellow red stripe but that didn't work, it didn't illuminate the system, and then when i put them both to the accessories it works, but I can understand why the memory now.... Any help on the cage??
