    Default REM connection

as some as you may know i previously wrote about the 'remote' connection on my b2.300.4 lightning audio amp being stuffed, well it still is
mate suggested soldering the wire to the plate, yep that doesnt work
look like im buying a new amp unless some one has any ideas
it doesnt work by the way as the plate in the rem terminal the bottom plate is threded so bad screw just falls in

Soldering should work, sand back the threaded plate of the remote terminal until its just bare metal.....get your soldering iron out and heat up this area whilst applying solder, the solder should stick to the bare metal. Then just "tin" the end of the remote cable (or another length of cable) and heat up the solder on the terminal......once its goes to liquid add the cable and apply a touch more heat, the cable should "melt" into the solder, once thats done hold the cable in place and allow it to cool.
