Vt wiring help

Hi guys,

Go a VT and im looking to replace the stock headunit. the onlly thing that im confused about it how the 'wiring harness' works is it just a straight plug and play for both ends or do i need to do wiring at one end. If so wat end and how is it done

VK-VZ Stereo wiring colours. Check that it gives you the wiring colours you need to hook up an aftermarket H/U
Or i think aepro or dna make an adapting harness, get these from JB supercheap etc.

Your best bet is to buy one of these:



Aerpro AP1784H, Just join (solder and tape / heatshrink) your new stereo wires to this and plug it into the standard stereo socket. You will need to test the constant and accessories wires though as some harness adapters (like above) have been known to have those wires around the wrong way. Easy enough if youve got a multimeter or test light.
