VY Calais Accessory Cigarette Lighter Help!

Hey there,

New to the forums, looks like a great place with lots of tips and advice.

Anyway back ontopic

I have a 2005 VY Calais and im installing a Sub and Amp on the stock Blaupunkt Stereo. Im having trouble finding the 12v Accessory cable which i can tap for remote on the amp.

I found the yellow wire which im assuming is for remote, however it does not work
I have placed the remote cable in the cigarette lighter and the amp fires up, so i was thinking that i could just tap a wire behind the cigarette lighter which connects to it as the lighter only works when the ignition is on..... however i have no idea how to remove the dash to get to the lighter or what wires to tap etc.

Does anybody have a better accessory place that i can tap, and where i can find it.

Which yellow wire did you find. remove the glove box and then remove the panel directly to the left of the unit ( 3 screws.) find the white plug with six wires and connect your remote wire to the yellow wire. If this is connected correctly then your amp will turn on.
