time for a sound system i'v got a nice pair of 6.9s from my old car (vn)
how would you recommend cutting the hole in the vx for them i got grills

Step 1: Remove upper and lower sections of rear seats, lower section just unclips and the upper section is held in with 4 or so bolts at the bottom and clips at the top.
Step 2: Remove parcel shelf. Involves removing all clips / baby seat bolts via the cabin.
Step 3: Undo spot welds holding 6x9 plates in metal section of parcel shelf. This can be done by "prying" these welds apart with a screwdriver etc....patience is needed here
Step 4: Cut out holes for grilles. I believe there is indents where the hole needs to be cut, last time i did one there was?
Step 5: Install 6x9s into metal shelf. Get source from an amp or rear speaker outputs of head unit.
Step 6: Re-fit everything![]()
