Default dvd player not keeping memory

    hey guys,

just a small problem, got around to installing my new dvd player today

now ive just noticed that its not keep its memory, like time, and the cd/dvd starting back at the beginning...what would be the main cause of this?

im thinking the constant power wire?? ive double checked all my wiring, i soldered them 1 by 1 reading the manual as i went

    any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Check your fuses under the dash firstly. Its possible youve touched either the constant or acc wire whilst soldering. Theres two fuses in the panel so make sure to check both.

Other than that you may need to remove the stereo and re-check the wiring / check the unit's fuse if applicable.

did you use an iso adaptor that you soldered to, which then plugged into the factory harness?

if so, swap the power and constant wires around. common problem with vy/z + iso harnesses.
