Just wondering if these are for real/Genuine most likely nicked from teh warehouse in malaysia but real or fake copies.

Well, they are advertised as Alpine, they are in an Alpine box and they have the Alpine logo on them. If they are not real, he is breaking the law and Ebay doesn't allow misrepresentation.

They would have to be alpine to be sold on ebay as alpine. Might be an asian export model or something though but that shouldn't change the quality.

Alpine is probably like a lot of audio companies now days that do not like there product being sold on Ebay. Seller might not know. I am not 100% sure having never sold Alpine but I know Polk and companies like that remove your trader account with them if you are found selling on Ebay.

I know alpine dont like their gear being sold online ANYWHERE really, very few stores stock it and non in australia that ive seen online anyway.
Kinda is waht lead me to believe they are cheap knock offs.
And the fact they say alpine/box etc you can get GHD hair straightners (box books everything ) off ebay and htey are fakes . You litterlally have to pull the straightener apart to tell so it wouldnt suprise me if anything else is copied .

What's the RRP on these normally? I couldn't find a price they'd cost in Australia.For that price from Malaysia, they're probably real.
Do you have woofers and crossovers to go with them though?

I have the woofers i found the car car i bought Pioneer TSC1625 they are ment to be splits but i only have hte woofers. and am looking at cheaply making htem sound "OK"

A lot of stuff on Ebay are cheap knock offs, and in the case of branded items, are usually Asian made equivelant items to that sold here. They are not fake, just not intended for the Australian market. Doesn't mean the quality is any lower.
Read this eBay.com.au - Help | Policies | Rules for everyone | eBay User Agreement | particularly point 6. It expressly states Ebay's position on fake or counterfeit products.
Oh, and Ebay and PayPal are two different companies.

There is a lot of FAKE (unauthorised copies) of car audio on eBay. eBay doesn't know if it's fake and don't do anything when things are reported as fake.

The same thing happens to MB Quart, Hertz and Pioneer. I'm sure others too but I haven't heard about those.
