Holden Calais VY Head Unit

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a 7inch Double Din Touch Screen Head Unit, which will have the capabilities to utilize the steering wheel buttons once installed ? Or if there are mods out there with instructions to enable the steering wheel buttons with any head unit.

Ey buddy, yeah not a lot of them do you just gotta go into a jbhifi or something and ask one of the guys which ones are compatible with the controls. I just bought a jvc avx810 for my sv6 and thats compatible for the controls just got to buy the wiring kit for it.

Pioneer do a few double DIN DVD units......features and price ofcourse are the differences:

2-DIN Audio/Visual unit with a 7" Touchscreen - AVH-P4250DVD :: Pioneer Australia

As far as steering wheel interface goes, all those units have a wired remote input (unlike some of the single DIN units) so all thats needed is a PAC "UNIVERSAL SWC MODULE" shown here:

Everything ive suggested here can be bought at most car audio stores aswell as online.

^ what he said. you can use the CAT10 for most units with a remote but no wired remote wire aswell
