    Default Stereo fascia Alpine

Iv bought an Alpine CDE-103EBT head unit to fit to my VZ Thunder Ute but im having some trouble finding the right fascia to install with it.

    I bought this one

VY VZ Commodore STEREO FASCIA KIT dash DIN pocket GREY - eBay Accessories, Cables, Audio, Video, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 12-Sep-10 04:25:44 AEST)

but it doesn't fit with the head unit.

Anyone else had and solved this problem?

    Cheers

I had this problem at first, have you got your stock head unit out? Id love to you show you how ive done mine but i just put it in yesterday lol.

If you setup the facia with the two side parts that it comes with screwed in, you'll be able to sit the headunit behind the facia and screw it into the sides of the facia. If that makes sense...

Make sure you remove the outer trim panel from the Alpine face firstly, it just unclips.

Then as Mty said you mount / clip the side panels onto the front part of the facia then slide the unit in from the rear.....use two of the screws that came with the unit (5mm deep) and screw them into the sides of the unit to hold it into place. Then just do the wiring and insert the whole lot into the dash, it should clip into place and its done.

The aftermarket double din facia you linked from ebay will do the job fine, its the exact same one i have in my car. But i dont have the same headunit, though it should be the same process for pretty much every single din head unit. How did u go with it?
