it all depends on the ohm load and the power the amp has

Alrighty, option 1 includes 2 DVC 2 ohm subs.....this means if you wire each sub in series then paralleled together you'll get a final impedance of 2 ohms (great for most monoblocks).
But IMO theres better monoblocks out there for the money, so stick with those subs and go with something like this:
Ryda Car Audio - Kenwood Car Audio KAC-9105D Car Amplifier($386.85)
This Kenwood amp is about $100 more than the Pioneer you listed, but it makes more than double the power of the Pioneer amp. Im sure theres plenty of other options too for that price range.

Option 2 again has similar problems, but because the sub you listed is only SVC 4 ohm the amp will only produce a tad over 200wrms for the sub......not nearly enough to get the best performance from both the sub and amp.

My suggestion would be to go with option 1 with that Kenwood amp......each sub sees up to 450wrms which will give you a very decent amount of bass, probably more than you want (which is a good thing).

The only box that any pro installer would recommend is a custom box to suit those subs and your needs.

@hg premier, of you need to do the math the rockford fosgate website has some made box designers, the speakers could be TS-A1673S
and a GM-D9500F amp wuld be clean.
