just checked behind stereo all lead connected and looking fine. but still no power.im pretty sure the stereo is not working due to battery being unhooked/drained. any thoughts?
did you test the wires behind the headunit?
get a test light out and test the wires behind the unit.
lol have you cheked the basic (fuse) lol maybe ur fuse might be blown and obviously if your car batt is drained there will be no power running to the headunit hope it helps
Hi there,
Check the fuse at the back of the unit. Also check the fuse in the fuse compartment box.
Mine did exactly the same, I took it to a installer and they said it was a fuse behind the deck.
I love how people make lots of suggestions without even asking if its the factory radio or after market ...

By having "vz stereo" as a title, what else will it be?
If it was an aftermarket, wouldn't he put the actual name and model?
just a thought.
