Hey,
I have a 4 channel amp,
I have my front 2 speakers + 2 tweeters which are connected to a splitter that are connected to the amp (channels 1 & 2),
I have a subwoofer that is bridged across channels 3 & 4.
I have 2 rca leads, the first is connected into the front L & R speaker hole in the HU and into the front L & R hole in the amp,
The second has a split (because the subwoofer hole in the HU only has 1 hole) and the other end is connected into the rear L & R hole of the amp.
Now, the problem im having is im getting little to no bass from the sub, I need help/tips of how to tune the sub to get as much bass out of it OR more then whats coming out of it atm, pretty much have more bass coming from my front speakers
What you mean it it only has one hole? One RCA plug just for the rear speakers? Don't it have two sets/pairs of RCA's on the rear?
Headunit model no. would a good starting point for us to help.
does your amp have seperate filters for channels 1&2 and 3&4? if the rear channels (3&4) are set to normal or high pass then you wouldnt get much bass out of the sub
Looking to buy VE super sport replica's
probally just a cheap ebay unit... i find getting one of these.
RCA Plug to 2 X RCA Socket - Jaycar Electronics
and plugging both the connectors in works better..
as currently your amp is only running one chan (for the sub)as you only have one input.
Sorry, what i ment was.
The HU has 2 sets of holes, front and rear and only 1 sub output.
yeah on the amp there is a low / norm / high switch, and the gain for the rear and a high / norm for the front + its gain
where abouts you located mate? if your from melb i can help you out if you like.
