    Default Opinions needed please

Ok... I have just picked up a VY a few days ago and went through it to see what it had in regards to ICE...

I am trying to figure out the best way to utilise what I already have and not spend too much on getting it setup & running properly.

At the moment, this is what I have:

Dash: No name (made in some 3rd world country) double din DVD MP3 Player
    Front doors: 6.5" Fusion splits
    Rear doors: 6.5" Alpine splits
Rear Shelf: 6x9" Fusion 3 ways
Boot: 1x 12" Sony Xplod Sub (Boxed)
    Boot: 1x Rockford Fosgate p400-4, 4ch amp (50w x 4)

The head unit is giving me 65w x 4ch output power and the splits (front & rear doors) are connected to the deck.
The 6x9's are running off 2ch's on the amp and the Sub is bridged into ch3 & 4.

Any help or advice on how to get maximum effect out of this setup without spending $$$ would be useful. I am looking at tossing the current DVD/MP3 player for something a little more understandable.

    Thanks in advance.

Well my first bit of advice would be to piss the 6x9"s off and use the amp to power the front splits. Why put most of the volume behind you? Also why have 6x9"s when you have a sub? 6x9"s are primarily for providing bass when subs aren't an option, this is due to their cone being roughly equivalent to a 8" sub.

Thanks acarmody, all of what I have actually came with the car. I have no idea why the previous owner filled it with all this gear.
Anyways, I was planning to take the 6x9's out and replace the factory 6x9's in my XR6.
With the rest of the gear... should I power both front & rear splits with the amp and get another 2ch amp for the sub, or... should I just power the fronts in ch1 & 2 and use ch3 & 4 bridged into the sub and run the rear splits strait off the deck?

I reckon power the splits in the front doors with the amp and the sub with the remaining to channels, as stated no need for 6x9 at best hp them from the headunit if you can.
