Wow thats a lot of money for nothing. As long as your wiring is good, you have done the Big 3 upgrade and your alternator and battery are in good working order, you car will easily handle 2200w. I run 2000wrms with no problems, and another member was running 5000wrms with stock VS alternator and just an Optima battery. If you really want too than run a second battery in the boot.

I found a place where I can get it for $180 so it's much cheaper than any other complete batteries. It's a cap and a battery so a bit of both.

We know what it is, but why do you want it?

    What are your amps?
Do you have 0ga cabling through the car? Even from battery negative to chassis?

You shouldn't need 2 batteries or expensive (flux) capicators or anything silly like that for 2000wrms.
Make sure your wiring is perfect (do the big 3 as mentioned), and I can do you a good price on an Optima Yellowtop to run it all.

Yeah fair call. I found an Optima yellowtop here: http://www.batteriesdirect.com.au/sh.../4357/d34.html
Reckon you can do a better price on that?
Wouldn't it be better to wire this battery in the boot parralel to the original battery?

Actually the blue top is the exact same price: http://www.batteriesdirect.com.au/sh...4359/d34m.html
That has extra terminals so I could wire in parralel easier.

I've had a 3200Wrms system and just ran a yellow top as my under bonnet battery. Had headlight dimming but I don't think it could really have been fixed with that much current draw.

Best thing to do is to install the system and see if you actually have any power problems, THEN fix them them.

Yeah but If I'm getting another battery anyway then wouldn't it make sence to run both?
