Rear door speakers not working

hi guys i have an issue with the speakers not working in my rear doors in my vt. the wires are broken somewhere along the line, i have run new wires for them but im not sure how to get them into the back doors, i see the plastic/rubber tube they run thru but dont know how to get my new wires into them. i have unbloted everything and found the plug in there but im unsure as to what to do from there.
any ideas?

hi mate, what you need is to get a sturdy length of wire or cut up a coat hanger, get your new speaker wire and wrap about 50mm of electrical tape around both of them at one end.
thread the wire through the door grommet/rubber tube and once youve got enough through the other side, remove the tape, then pull the speaker wire through.
may take a bit of fiddling but be patient.

new doors looms are $26 each from holden... pretty common problem, the power windows will stop working soon too....
